I bought the tickets thinking that it was going to be an acoustic show. Although, on our walk to venue, we could hear the electric guitars wailing from the opening act!!! I turned to my friend Phil and said "Doesn't sound acoustic to me". As it turned out they did not play acoustic which made it even a better experience.
Kim Deal was pretty funny to watch on stage. She must of smoked like 2 packs while playing bass. At times she didn't even sing her harmony parts because she was to busy puffing. Black Francis was incredible! What a performer! He was very impressive to see live.
Overall the show was awesome and it made me realize why I had liked them so much growing up. It's probably the best concert I've seen in years.
